Husumer Klärwerk - Die Reinigungsleistung ist hoch - Luftbild | Die Reinigungsleistung ist hoch: 97 bis 99 % der Abwasserinhaltsstoffe werden beseitigt. Die Anlage verarbeitet jährlich etwa 2,2 Millionen Kubikmeter Abwasser, wobei die Ablaufwerte – wie BSB5 unter 5 mg/l oder Phosphor unter 0,8 mg/l – strengen Umweltauflagen entsprechen. Die Kläranlage ist seit 1986 in Betrieb, mit kontinuierlichen Erweiterungen bis hin zur Phosphat-Elimination ab 1989.
