Luftbild Langballigau - Der Hafen ist nicht nur ein beliebter Ankerplatz | Der Hafen ist nicht nur ein beliebter Ankerplatz, sondern auch ein Nothafen, da die geschützte Lage des Hafens dazu beiträgt. Die Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger (DgzRS) hat hier ihren Rettungskreuzer Werner Kuntze stationiert. Direkt am Hafen befinden sich mehrere Gaststätten, ein Supermarkt, ein Segelmacher, ein Bootszubehör-Shop und eine Poststelle. Zudem gibt es zwei Sanitäranlagen mit Waschgelegenheiten, Duschen und WC.
