Luftbild Flughafen Husum-Schwesing - Heliport Westcoast | Die Länge zwischen den Schwellen beträgt 1.140 Meter (3.739 Fuß), was auch die TORA (Take-Off Run Available) und LDA (Landing Distance Available) entspricht. Die Tragfähigkeit der Bahn ist mit LCN 50 angegeben.Der Flugplatz wird überwiegend von Motorflugzeugen und Hubschraubern genutzt und ist für Flugzeuge bis 14 Tonnen und Hubschrauber bis 10 Tonnen Abfluggewicht zugelassen. Zudem erfüllt der „Heliport Westcoast“ auf dem Flugplatz zunehmend wichtige Serviceaufgaben im Umfeld der Offshore-Windenergiegewinnung.
