Luftbild Nordseeheilbad Nordstrand, Hafen Strucklahnungshoern, Faehranleger, Alterkoogchaussee, Mitteldeich | Nordsee, Nordstrand, Hafen Strucklahnungshoern - Erst 1652 erwarb der Gottorfer Herzog Friedrich III. einen Freibrief, der die Neubedeichung der Insel ermöglichte. Mit diesem Oktroy erhielten vier niederländische Deichbauern, darunter Quirinus Indervelden, weitgehende Rechte und das Eigentumsrecht am gesamten Land, was zu Protesten der einheimischen Bevölkerung führte, die nun auch ihren letzten Besitz verloren.
