Luftbild Flensburger Foerde, Flensburg Binnenhafen, Schiffbrücke, Museumswerft | Die Museumswerft ist eine gemeinnützige GmbH, die von einem Förderverein durch ehrenamtliche Arbeit, Mitgliedsbeiträge und Spenden unterstützt wird. Sie zeigt und baut traditionelle Segel- und Arbeitsboote, wie sie vor 100 bis 200 Jahren im Ostseeraum im Handel und in der Fischerei unterwegs waren. Besonders hervorgehoben wird die Restaurierung und Nachbildung historischer Schiffe, wie beispielsweise einer Drei-Masten-Brigantine aus dem Jahr 1781, die ursprünglich in der Nähe des heutigen Standorts vom Stapel lief.
