Seit 2022 gab es kurzfristige Bauarbeiten aufgrund einer Schadensanalyse. Im März 2025 fanden reguläre Jahreswartungen statt, wobei jeweils eine Klappe gesperrt war und der Verkehr einspurig mit 30 km/h geführt wurde. Während dieser Zeit waren Sonderöffnungen für Schiffe nach vorheriger Anmeldung beim Brückenwärter möglich.
